Have you ever looked at a piece of art and had no idea what you were looking at? In my opinion, that’s abstract art. This form of art can be unique and beautiful at the same time. An art piece can have a whole bunch of random shapes, colors, or flowy squiggly lines all over the place. It’s truly captivating. Some famous pieces are:

It’s almost, unorthodox, unconventional, rebellious even. And when the elements connect, you can see the bigger picture.
However, abstract art isn’t only used in paintings. In the performing arts world as well, there are such things called abstract dance, abstract photography, and even music. Music is considered abstract due to repetition and symmetry within rhythm and how it conveys emotion. Cool right?
